Human Resources Assistant, PRN

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join the HR team! The Human Resources Assistant will provide assistance to the HR Generalist and HR Manager with the daily duties of accurately maintaining employee files, compensation and benefits records for the Human Resource department.
Major Job Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for maintenance of employee records (electronic and paper) to include data entry into Meditech, API, and HR software systems as well as all employee personnel files.
Participates in timely and accurate benefit administration:
assists with annual Open Enrollment and answers general employee benefit-related questions, under the direction of the HR Generalist.
Assists with reconciliation of monthly invoices and prepares for authorization.
Produces monthly, as needed and other periodic reports.
Perform back-up duties for the Human Resources Generalist as needed.
Assists with other office/clerical duties as needed by the HR Generalist and HR Manager.
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Possess excellent prioritization, organization and time management skills.
Exhibit strong computer skills, requiring knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Function independently with self-confidence in a highly stressful environment.
Ability to type 60 words per minute.
Demonstrates sound verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills beyond the normal scope of secretarial work.
Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field, preferred.
Experience A minimum of two (2) years of office experience.
Healthcare experience and knowledge is highly desired Schedule The schedule will be based on the needs of the department.
This is a Per Diem/PRN position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
