The Department of the Army Pathways Internship Program is designed to provide students currently enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work and get paid while exploring federal careers through a job with the Department of Army.

Current Department of the Army Seattle District Pathways Interns in the Libby, MT commuting area.
Positions are open to current Seattle District Pathways Interns in the Libby, MT commuting area in an accredited high school, college (including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, and junior colleges); professional, technical, vocational, and trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institution pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate.
You will perform a variety of support tasks including some or all of, but not limited to:
Provide assistance for park activities during the summer season by performing a variety of tasks to promote enjoyment of park facilities by the public.
Assist visitors at recreation areas and the visitor center.
Distribute information brochures.
Explain project regulations to maintain the good conduct and safety of park visitors at all times.
Assist Park Rangers in the presentation, and maintenance of interpretive programs.
Operate simple audio-visual equipment, radios and photographic equipment.
Escort visitors on routine tours, assisting in interpretative activities, explaining the physical features of the project and answering standard questions.
Assist in maintaining supply records.
Collect visitation and other park related data. Receive training to deal with emergencies that may arise.
To qualify applicants must meet either the general experience OR the education requirement described below:
Experience : Possess six (6) months of general experience. General experience is defined as administrative or technical work which provided interpersonal relations skills in dealing with the general public and a familiarity with park-related work; natural or cultural history; resource protection; recreational use of public lands and facilities; or enforcement of laws, rules, or regulations.

The duration of a Pathways appointment is a trial period.
Initial appointment may be extended as long as all eligibility requirements of the Pathways Program and conditions in the Participant Agreement are met.

Must be enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in an accredited school.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
