About the Position: Libby Dam employs approximately 38 full-time and 17 part-time employees. Libby Dam project has one of the highest performing workforces of any Corps field office. These dedicated employees manage, operate and maintain the dam, powerhouse, recreation areas, and Visitor Center. They also manage the water resources of Lake Koocanusa, a geographic area that receives over 300,000 visitors a year. Libby Dam is a multipurpose project responsible for hydropower generation, flood control, recreation, fish protection, and wildlife management. A qualified typist is required (40wpm). At full performance you will serve as an Office Automation Assistant providing clerical and administrative support duties for the Libby Dam Project Office.
Use word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and database programs to develop and maintain reports.
Design and update a variety of documents.
Prepare a variety of material in final form from rough draft, brief written or oral instructions with responsibility for format, spelling, grammar and arrangement of material.
Verifies data on computer printouts to ensure accuracy.
Enters employee time and other information into database.
Generates reports compiles data and maintains filing system.

Experience required:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of general experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. General experience is defined as: progressively responsible clerical, office or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as: using a computer to input and retrieve data; and using software such as Microsoft office to prepare spreadsheets, word documents and/or presentations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
